YesCare Corp Supervisor Behavioral Health in Lexington, Kentucky

Experience & Requirements

  • Master’s level licensure in a behavioral health related field (Clinical License Preferred)

  • Active supervision plan to obtain clinical license required (Less than 6 months preferred)

  • 3 years of experience in a mental health or psychiatric setting required

  • Previous management experience preferred

  • Required to exert up to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

  • Required to kneel, stoop, crouch and/or crawl occasionally. Occasionally walking throughout site; to include walking up and down flights of stairs.

  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks using arms, hands, and wrists. Long periods sitting, typing and reading from a computer screen may be required.

A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Responsibilities

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Supervisor Behavioral Health with YesCare at Lexintington Detention Center in Lexington, KY

  • Assist in planning and implementation of goals and objectives of the Individualized Reintegration Unit (IRU) programs and projects to ensure contract compliance and client satisfaction.

  • Assist in providing Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) supervision and clinical oversight for all BHPs providing services to IRU inmates with difficult and complex social/behavioral problems.

  • Lead multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings with IRU inmates, clinical staff, custody staff, and medical team members to create effective treatment plans to manage difficult and complex IRU patients.

  • Provide the necessary preparation of documentation, administrative records, rosters, and reports.

  • Participate in CQI process to include planning and direction of a program to analyze and evaluate cases for standards control.

  • Provide direct care services to patients and maintain a caseload of group/individual therapy

  • Ensure all IRU clinicians:

    • Have accurate, effective, and appropriate treatment plans documented.

    • Practice evidence-based treatment in group and individual therapy sessions.

    • Provide appropriate and effective crisis intervention to ensure patient safety..

  • Attend professional, staff, and in-service training meetings as required.

  • Consult with psychiatric, behavioral health and/or medical staff to coordinate patient care.
