Experience & Requirements

  • BS or BA in related field; Masters preferred.

  • A minimum of eight (8+) years’ experience in training and development.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify organizational strategies and solutions to business challenges.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of management and field staff.

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Business acumen to identify business issues and conceptualize practical solutions.

  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and work effectively under pressure to deliver results.

  • Interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with staff, customers and develop work communities to ensure buy-in and support of training and development initiatives.

  • Strong technology skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoints, etc.

  • Travel twenty percent (20%) with the potential of extended assignments

Responsibilities

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Director of Talent & Organizational Development with YesCare:

  • Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.

  • Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., succession planning).

  • Participate in organizational strategic planning and provide leadership for PM and QI policy development.

  • Research and assist in the development of PM training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns.

  • Serve as a business partner with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in client satisfaction. Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to have influence and impact the recruiting process and hiring.

  • Develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning.

  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.

  • Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan.

  • Manage DEI program and initiatives.

  • Manage employee recognition program.

  • Conduct presentations and training.

  • Ensure that organization-wide talent management and PM initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness.

  • Work closely with the VP/Director, Total Rewards & Payroll to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and translate those data into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.

  • Direct and lead field training and development strategies, programs, and curriculums, consistent with strategic and operational priorities. Collaborating with Operations leadership and personnel to ensure consistent execution and effective implementation of training across the company.

  • Design impactful learning and development solutions that include high-quality curriculum and materials, classroom, on-line, self-study, manuals, virtual and blended. The training will be consistent with Adult Learning principles and evidenced based training practices. Work in collaboration with operational leadership and personnel to ensure content and delivery methods are geared toward unique market requirements and site restrictions.

  • Oversee the quality and content of YesCare’s Learning Management System (LMS), contributing to the creation and maintenance of new content.

  • Oversee the full utilization of the LMS course assignments, tracking, reporting and notification capabilities.

  • Partner with operational leaders to assess, design, deploy, measure and evaluate training/performance.

  • Overseeing training programs and strategies for new employees (On-boarding, SMART Start, etc.) closely partnering with Operations and Human Resources.

  • Partner with Information Technology to provide support for technical systems training needs across the company.

  • Provide structure and leaning principles in the development and delivery of high-quality clinical training initiatives, such as Core Processes.

  • Partner with outside consultants/vendors, as necessary, to negotiate and implement cost effective programs and solutions. Manage the relationship and project timelines.

  • Other duties as assigned.
