Experience & Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in physician recruitment, healthcare or agency recruiting; correctional experience strongly preferred.

  • Microsoft Office, iCIMS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, UKG experience required.

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to candidates, managers, and other employees of the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize time management skills. Able to multi-task in a changing and deadline driven environment.

  • Ability to work on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variance factors.

  • Able to make objective employment decisions.

  • Ability to work onsite 40 hours per week and travel up to 25% to correctional facilities, regional offices, client and/or vendor sites.

A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Responsibilities

Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Senior Healthcare Recruiter (temporary with option to convert to permanent) with YesCare:

  • Candidates must reside in the state of Alabama or within commutable distance.

  • Responsible for candidate lead generation, pre-screening and appropriate follow-up for candidates in designated geographical area.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in selection of capable healthcare staff through effective screening processes using behavioral based interviewing techniques and assessment skill/fit analysis.

  • Refer qualified candidates to field managers and facilitate interviews.

  • Coordinate facility site visits to include meeting with site administrator, key medical staff members and tours of the facility.

  • May be required to escort candidates on site visits.

  • Maintain open and responsive communication between Talent Acquisition Department, candidates, site administrators, medical directors and regional management.

  • May work closely with specialized teams to support corporate initiatives and programs.

  • Develop cost effective and proactive recruitment strategies/campaigns for recruitment of healthcare staff including direct mail, advertising, residency programs, state/national medical organization and specialty meetings etc. Will be deployed to specific locations that require focused and expert recruitment efforts. Will act as the internal ambassador of the TA team with site leadership; building rapport with and providing value and assistance to operators in the field.

  • Maintain database of all candidate information to include curriculum vitae, contact information, internal referrals, follow-up information, correspondence and candidate records.

  • Maintain and report key staffing metrics on openings in assigned geographic area.

  • Identify and evaluate trends on healthcare recruitment including location conditions, economic conditions and competitive institutions to develop innovative and proactive strategic plans to respond to these trends.

  • Develop recruiting contacts with employment agencies, placement offices, residency and fellowship programs etc.

  • Participate in start-up of new business to ensure staffing of contracted hours.

  • Represent the company at association meetings and training programs.

  • Assist in completion of special projects on as needed basis.
