Vendor Management System (VMS) Coordinator - Healthcare Staffing
Position Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned Vendor Management System (VMS) Coordinator to lead our VMS team in correctional healthcare. As the VMS Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing vendor relationships, ensuring the efficient utilization of our Vendor Management System, and elevating the overall effectiveness of our healthcare staffing operations. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven track record in vendor management, preferably within the healthcare staffing industry.
Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and proficiency in related software applications.
Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform decision-making.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
Comprehensive understanding of healthcare staffing compliance and regulatory requirements.
Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to navigate and resolve complex issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
VMS Oversight: Take charge of the end-to-end administration of the Vendor Management System, ensuring precise setup of vendor profiles, contracts, and terms.
Vendor Engagement: Establish and nurture strong relationships with healthcare staffing vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, issues, and escalations.
Vendor Performance Evaluation: Monitor and assess vendor performance against established key performance indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with vendors to improve service quality and compliance.
Compliance Management: Guarantee that all vendors adhere to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards in healthcare staffing.
Data Governance: Maintain precise and up-to-date vendor data within the VMS, including pricing, credentialing, compliance, and contact information.
Financial Collaboration: Work closely with the finance department to ensure precise billing and invoicing processes, swiftly addressing any discrepancies.
Reporting Excellence: Generate regular reports and analytics from the VMS to evaluate vendor performance, track metrics, and support decision-making.
Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency within the VMS and vendor management workflows.
Education and Support: Provide training and guidance to internal teams and vendors regarding VMS usage, compliance requirements, and best practices.
Industry Insight: Stay abreast of healthcare staffing industry trends and VMS technology, offering insights to enhance our vendor management strategy.
